Platinum Planet Music, Inc. this week released the debut
recording for Southern funny man, Joey Hancock. His
first CD album entitled Thinkin' Man recorded
live at Where There’s Smoke in Monroe, Georgia, was
available digitally on iTunes on January 16th and in CD
format on January 26th. Produced by Justin Peters, this
hilarious family-oriented project features Joey
pondering life’s great mysteries, such as coon hunting,
screaming monkeys, and reality TV among many other
Southern topics. A companion DVD will soon follow.
Songs For
The Planet, Inc. hosted an album release party for Joey's
Thinkin' Man at the Berry Hill Pinnacle Bank in
Nashville, Tennessee. Many representatives from the music
industry were on hand to celebrate this milestone in Joey's
career (and share a few laughs, too).
Being very
excited about the release of this record, Joey chuckles
while commenting, “Come join me in my own crazy little
world! Pull up a chair, sit down, and let’s 'take a
think!' Let's laugh and learn together just about what a
bizarre world we live in, so when we pick up and leave, we
will feel a little bit better about the load we are
carrying!”
Joey
Hancock is a man who loves the outdoors, named one of the
“Top Ten Turkey Hunters in Alabama,” he is often asked to
speak at Wild Game banquets, as well as other outdoor events
and festivals because of that experience. It is Joey's
unique perspective on life, hunting and nature that creates
a special connection between him and the people who live or
have lived that same lifestyle.
Best known
for his ability to make you laugh while teaching you
something at the same time, Joey Hancock is a self-declared
“Thinkin’ Man,” an ordinary guy obsessed with examining all
the little things in life. Joey takes pride in his Southern
heritage (both the blessings and the pitfalls) and is a man
of strong morals, ensuring good clean comedy for the whole
family!
When it
comes to Joey, one thing is for sure: he will get you
thinkin'! Prepare for endless laughter as you and your
family experience Joey Hancock’s “Comedy with a Southern
Bling!”
